Friday Faux Pas: Double Denim

This is Spring, and this is just the time for a indigo overload. Everything from ripped up jeans to denim jackets are flooding the store fronts and it's oh so tempting to get overwhelmed with all the choices. But the worst sin happens to be trying to match denims together in the same outfit.
Don't be this guy.
Having the same or even similar shades of denim together will actually lead people to believe there was a concerted effort to actually match the two together; all-in-all not a good look and it might give off the Canadian tuxedo vibe. Some designers are even putting together denim suits, actual tailored clothing constructed of hefty, indigo-dyed cotton, for the purpose of wearing in a way more than casual setting. That might be the greatest contradiction of all, tailored denim, and that might just be the reason why it might be a big hit this spring, but There's is much more that can be accomplished with denim. Take advantage of the mixing capabilities of a pair of over-washed jeans and a dark denim jacket; always vary washes of denim when paired together!
